Job Overview
MONARCH GROUP is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial decision-making. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and statutory compliance.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Expertise in GST, TDS, and taxation compliance.
Hands-on experience with Tally and accounting software.
Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reports).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple responsibilities.
Good communication and team leadership skills.
Eligibility Criteria
B.Com / M.Com qualification.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.
Experience in real estate or construction industry is a plus.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting functions.
