Title: Junior Accountant
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and assist in maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior accounting staff to ensure timely processing of transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth financial operations.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
Prepare and post journal entries under supervision
Maintain ledgers and update accounting records
Assist with bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in preparation of financial reports and statements
Support GST, TDS, and basic tax-related work
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Assist in audit preparation and respond to basic audit queries
Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned
Education / Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
CA Inter / CMA Inter candidates are an advantage
Skills & Requirements
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn and work under guidance
Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of GST and taxation is a plus
Good communication and teamwork skills
