Title: Accountant Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant Manager to lead and oversee the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining statutory compliance, and supporting management with financial insights and planning.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and manage the accounting team
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations
Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other regulatory requirements
Coordinate internal and external audits and handle audit observations
Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely closures
Perform and review bank, ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Analyze financial performance and present reports to management
Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation
Support senior management in financial decision-making and strategy
Education / Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Expertise in taxation, audits, and compliance
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Good communication and coordination skills
Corporate Responsibility
The role involves handling sensitive financial data. Employees are expected to follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, ensure accuracy of financial information, and complete all required compliance and security training.
