Title: Accountant
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting while supporting smooth financial operations of the organization.
Role & Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts
Record journal entries and manage general ledger activities
Prepare and review bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Assist in GST, TDS, income tax filings, and statutory compliances
Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments on accounts-related matters
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
CA (Inter), CMA, CPA, or relevant accounting certifications are a plus
Knowledge / Experience / Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting reports
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
