Job Overview:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and financial reporting while supporting smooth financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
– Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
– Prepare and reconcile bank statements regularly.
– Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately.
– Maintain GST records and assist in GST return filing.
– Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance.
– Prepare trial balance, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
– Maintain MIS reports and provide financial data to management.
– Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
– Monitor expenses and support cost control activities.
– Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data confidentiality.
– Assist in payroll processing and related accounting entries (basic level).
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
– 1–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
– Experience with GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
– Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / ERP preferred).
– High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
– Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
– Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications:
– B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
– Hands-on experience in accounting, billing, or audit support is an advantage.
– Experience in manufacturing or industrial accounting is a plus.
– Strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical accounting practices.
