Job Description: Junior Accountant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with general accounting tasks such as data entry, preparing invoices, and processing transactions
– Reconcile financial statements and verify discrepancies
– Support senior accountants in daily tasks and month-end close procedures
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
– Prepare reports for management and stakeholders
– Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
– Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA or relevant certification is a plus
– Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
