Job Overview
BISUN ELECTRIC PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a dedicated Solar Project Engineer to manage and execute solar PV projects from site survey to commissioning. The role involves site coordination, supervision of installation activities, quality control, and ensuring timely project completion in compliance with safety and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Execution and supervision of solar PV projects (Rooftop & Ground-mounted)
Conducting site surveys and feasibility assessments
Coordinating with design, procurement, and installation teams
Managing AC & DC electrical installation work
Ensuring quality standards and safety compliance at site
Monitoring project progress and timelines
Handling vendors, contractors, and manpower at site
Testing, commissioning, and system handover to clients
Preparing daily progress reports (DPR) and project documentation
Supporting net metering and DISCOM coordination
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems (On-grid / Off-grid / Hybrid)
Understanding of electrical drawings, layouts, and SLDs
Knowledge of cable sizing, earthing, and lightning protection
Familiarity with MNRE, DISCOM, and CEIG norms (basic)
Ability to manage site execution and troubleshooting
Good communication and coordination skills
MS Excel and basic reporting skills
Willingness to travel to project sites
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma / BE in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Engineering
Minimum 1 year of relevant solar project experience
Ability to work independently and in a team
