Job Summary
Amnex Infotechnologies is seeking an experienced SOC Engineer to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across IT infrastructure. The role focuses on continuous security monitoring, incident response, and maintaining a strong security posture in line with organizational policies and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
The SOC Engineer will monitor security alerts using SIEM and other security monitoring tools. The role includes analyzing logs from servers, networks, firewalls, and endpoints to identify potential threats. The candidate will handle security incidents, perform initial investigations, and escalate issues as per defined procedures. Documentation of incidents, preparation of reports, and coordination with internal security and IT teams are essential responsibilities. The role also involves supporting vulnerability management activities and following SOC processes in a shift-based environment.

Required Skills & Knowledge
The candidate should have strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, threat detection, and incident response. Experience with SIEM tools, log analysis, and security monitoring is required. Good understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and common attack vectors is expected. Basic knowledge of malware analysis, risk assessment, and compliance standards will be an advantage. Clear communication and documentation skills are necessary.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or cybersecurity monitoring. The candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts and handle critical security incidents professionally.
