Title: Senior Sourcing Executive
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Sourcing Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing activities, develop supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in vendor management, negotiation, and supply chain optimization while supporting business and operational goals.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead and manage sourcing activities for assigned categories or projects
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and service-level agreements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
Ensure timely procurement of materials/services as per business requirements
Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery timelines
Analyze market trends, pricing, and cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, quality) to align sourcing plans
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and ethical sourcing practices
Prepare sourcing reports, cost analysis, and vendor performance reviews
Support risk management and continuity of supply initiatives
Mentor or guide junior sourcing/procurement staff as required
Education / Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) are a plus
Skills & Requirements
Strong experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
Knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement best practices
Ability to analyze costs, pricing, and market data
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and MS Excel
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects and meet deadlines
