Job Overview:
CultureX is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of applications through automated testing. The role involves designing test scripts, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
Work with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
Collaborate with developers to resolve defects
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure test coverage and improve testing processes
Participate in code reviews and QA best practices
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of software testing and QA methodologies
Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience in API testing and test frameworks
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
Knowledge of Git and version control systems
Understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter is a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
2–4 years of experience in QA automation
Strong technical and analytical skills
