Title: Civil Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Civil Engineer to plan, design, execute, and supervise construction projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure works. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Role & Responsibilities
Plan, design, and oversee civil construction projects
Prepare and review drawings, layouts, and technical specifications
Supervise site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved plans
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams
Monitor project progress, timelines, and material usage
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations
Perform quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and billing verification
Conduct site inspections and quality checks
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Diploma in Civil Engineering may be considered for junior roles
Professional certifications are an added advantage
Knowledge / Experience / Skills
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods
Experience with AutoCAD and other design/software tools
Understanding of structural drawings and site execution
Knowledge of construction materials and quality standards
Familiarity with project planning and estimation
Good communication and coordination skills
Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
