• Design and maintain databases using systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Write optimized SQL queries and improve performance
• Monitor database performance and ensure availability
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster management strategies
• Ensure data security and access control
• Perform database tuning and optimization
• Handle database migrations and upgrades
• Collaborate with development teams for database integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of data modeling and schema design
• Knowledge of performance tuning and indexing
• Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash)
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
