Title: Video Editor & Social Media Executive
Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Social Media Executive to create engaging video content and manage social media posting across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will edit videos, publish content, and support brand visibility and audience engagement through consistent and high-quality social media activity.
Role & Responsibilities
Edit videos for social media platforms including Reels, Shorts, Stories, and posts
Create engaging short-form and basic long-form video content
Add transitions, text overlays, background music, and basic motion effects
Optimize videos according to platform-specific formats and guidelines
Schedule and publish content on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Write captions, hashtags, and basic post descriptions
Maintain a consistent posting schedule as per content calendar
Monitor comments, messages, and basic engagement activities
Coordinate with marketing and content teams for content planning
Track basic performance metrics such as views, reach, and engagement
Stay updated with social media trends and video formats
Perform additional content and social media-related tasks as assigned
Education / Qualification
Any graduate or diploma (media, design, or marketing background preferred)
Certification in video editing or digital marketing is a plus
Skills & Requirements
Proficiency in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
Basic knowledge of graphics, transitions, and audio editing
Understanding of social media platforms and posting requirements
Creativity and storytelling skills
Attention to detail and time management
Basic communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
