Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Lead Engineer will lead a team of engineers, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and oversee civil and structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
– Develop detailed designs, calculations, and specifications for construction projects.
– Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
– Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and constraints.
– Conduct site visits, inspections, and reviews to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
– Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
– Participate in design reviews, meetings, and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
– Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in civil and structural engineering.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
– 8-10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering design.
– Proven track record of successfully leading engineering projects from start to finish.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
– Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
– Proficiency in engineering software and design tools.
– Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
– Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver quality results under pressure.
Qualifications and Skills:
