Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with 2 years of expertise in building and maintaining websites on the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of web technologies, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress theme and plugin development. You will be working with cross-functional teams to create dynamic, user-friendly websites that align with the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain WordPress websites from scratch, ensuring clean and efficient code.
Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing websites.
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and other tools to enhance website functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to performance, security, and functionality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and WordPress updates.
Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and backups.
Work closely with the project manager and other team members to deliver projects on time.
Skills and Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in WordPress development.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first web development.
Experience with SEO best practices for WordPress sites.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good understanding of website performance optimization and security.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
