Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, execute test cases, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
– Review and analyze software requirements and specifications.
– Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios.
– Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
– Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
– Validate UI/UX, application workflows, and overall system functionality.
– Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes and enhancements.
– Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and QA documentation.
– Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.
– Participate in release testing and quality sign-off activities.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
– 0–3 years of experience in software testing or QA (freshers can apply).
– Strong understanding of manual testing concepts and techniques.
– Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
– Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar.
– Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL is an advantage.
– Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
– Good communication and documentation abilities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
– Hands-on experience through testing projects, internships, or training is a plus.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality
