Job Title: Purchase Officer

Job Overview:
The Purchase Officer is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for the organization. The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of purchases.

Responsibilities:
1. Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
2. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
3. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
4. Ensure all purchases are in line with budget and quality requirements.
5. Coordinate with other departments to determine purchasing needs.
6. Track and report key procurement metrics.
7. Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

Requirements and Skills:
– 3 years of experience in a similar role.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
– Strong negotiation and communication skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
– Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
