Job Title: Manual Tester
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The Manual Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through manual testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute thorough test cases and test scenarios based on software requirements
– Identify and report software defects and issues
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
– Conduct regression testing to ensure previously fixed defects do not resurface
– Document test plans, test cases, and test results
– Provide feedback and recommendations for improving software quality
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual software testing
– Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
– Proficiency in creating test cases and test plans
– Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in manual software testing
– Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
