Job Description: Manual Test Engineer
Company: Vismen IT Solutions – Training | Placement | Work Support
Location: Remote / Hyderabad (based on project requirements)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Freelance / Work Support
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
Execute manual test cases to identify software issues.
Report, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality standards.
Conduct regression testing and re-testing for issue resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation related to test planning, test execution, and defect tracking.
Contribute to continuous process improvements related to testing methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Hands-on experience in writing effective test cases and executing manual tests.
Good knowledge of different types of testing such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
