Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids and proposals, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
– Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop bid proposals.
– Review subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing.
– Monitor project costs and track expenses throughout the duration of the project.
– Prepare reports and documentation detailing estimated costs, actual costs, and budget variances.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
– 2 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction industry.
– Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
– Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
