Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software for internal employees. This role requires a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, hardware, networking, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
– Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software.
– Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems and peripherals.
– Set up, support, and maintain user accounts and profiles.
– Collaborate with the IT team to implement software updates and patches.
– Ensure security measures are in place to protect desktop systems from potential threats.
– Provide technical support and guidance to end-users in person, over the phone, or remotely.
– Document support activities, solutions, and processes.

Requirements Skill:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
– Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and antivirus software.
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are a plus.
