Title: Admission Counsellor

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, persuasive, and student-focused Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students through the admission process. The ideal candidate will provide accurate information about courses and institutions, counsel students and parents, and support enrollment targets while ensuring a positive applicant experience.

Role & Responsibilities
Handle student inquiries via calls, emails, walk-ins, and online channels
Counsel students and parents on courses, eligibility, fees, and career options
Explain admission procedures, documentation, and timelines clearly
Follow up with prospective students to drive enrollments
Assist students in completing application and admission formalities
Maintain accurate student records and update CRM or admission systems
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets
Coordinate with academic and administrative teams
Participate in education fairs, seminars, and outreach activities
Prepare daily and monthly admission reports
Provide post-admission support as required

Education / Certification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline
Certification in counselling, education management, or sales is a plus

Knowledge / Experience / Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Counselling, persuasion, and follow-up abilities
Customer-service and student-centric approach
Ability to handle targets and work under pressure
Familiarity with CRM or admission management systems
Basic computer skills (MS Office, email handling)
Good organizational and time-management skills
