Job Overview:
Excellent Webworld is looking for a Tech Lead – Node.js to lead backend development and build scalable applications. The role involves designing system architecture, managing development teams, and ensuring high performance and reliability of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of Node.js-based applications
Architect scalable and high-performance backend systems
Manage and mentor a team of developers
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices
Optimize application performance and scalability
Implement security and data protection measures
Oversee deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot complex technical issues
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Node.js and backend development
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and async programming
Experience with Express.js or NestJS
Strong understanding of system design and microservices
Experience with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of Docker and containerization
Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Experience in team leadership and mentoring
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
5–7 years of experience in Node.js development
Proven experience in leading development teams
