Job Overview
Matiyas Solutions LLP is looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The role involves manual testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Understand project requirements and prepare test plans
Design, execute, and maintain test cases
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing
Conduct web and application testing across different browsers
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings
Prepare test reports and quality metrics
Coordinate with developers to resolve issues
Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes
Required Skills
Manual Testing and STLC Knowledge
Test Case Writing and Execution
Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA or similar)
Web and Application Testing
Basic SQL and API Testing Knowledge
Agile Methodology Understanding
Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills
Communication and Documentation Skills
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 6 months of experience in software testing or QA
Freshers with strong testing knowledge may also apply
