About the Role
Metizsoft Solutions Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, defect tracking, and software quality assurance processes, with a strong focus on delivering bug-free applications.
Key Responsibilities
Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards before release.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Bug Life Cycle.
Experience with test case design, defect tracking, and tools like JIRA.
Familiarity with API testing, SQL, and cross-browser/mobile application testing.
Basic knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality software within deadlines.
