Job Description: L1 Application Support Engineer

Job Overview:
As a Level 1 Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to end-users and clients. You will diagnose and resolve issues related to software applications, troubleshoot technical problems, and escalate issues when necessary. A key aspect of this role is to ensure that all customer support requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
– Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat
– Diagnose and resolve software application issues in a timely manner
– Document and track support tickets using a ticketing system
– Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
– Assist with software installation, configuration, and updates
– Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of applications
– Collaborate with other support engineers to enhance service quality
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Basic understanding of software applications and systems
– Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
– Knowledge of software applications and systems
– Good understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques
