Job Title: Business Development Manager – Solar Projects
Industry: Renewable Energy – Solar Power Projects
Locations: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai
Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years
Joining: Immediate or Short Notice Preferred
Salary Range: ₹8 LPA to ₹14 LPA (Based on experience and performance)
About the Role:
We are seeking a result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our solar projects business. This role involves market development, client acquisition, and project pipeline management across key metro cities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar EPC and project development space
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, and industrial clients
Generate leads through market research, networking, and industry events
Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals and negotiate project terms
Work closely with engineering and execution teams to align technical feasibility with client needs
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market policies to inform business strategy

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical or related)
MBA preferred (Marketing/Operations/Business Strategy)
5–10 years of experience in business development within the solar/renewable energy sector
Strong knowledge of solar PV technologies, project lifecycle, and commercial models (CAPEX, OPEX, RESCO)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel across regions for client meetings and site visits
