Job Overview:
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, developing strategic financial plans, and making investment recommendations tailored to clients’ financial goals. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing market conditions, assessing risk, and executing strategies that enhance returns while safeguarding investments.

Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee a portfolio of investments for individual and institutional clients, focusing on optimizing returns while maintaining risk tolerance.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, financial reports, and economic conditions to inform investment decisions.
Investment Strategy Development: Design and implement customized investment strategies based on client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons.
Risk Management: Continuously evaluate portfolio risk and performance, adjusting strategies as needed to mitigate risks and align with market changes.
Client Interaction: Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on portfolio performance, discuss investment strategies, and review financial goals.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance, market analysis, and investment recommendations.
Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with relevant regulations, including SEBI guidelines and internal policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with financial analysts, traders, and other team members to gather market insights and coordinate investment activities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in portfolio management, wealth management, or a related field.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; a CFA designation or relevant certifications (e.g., NISM) are a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills for evaluating financial statements and market trends.
In-depth knowledge of investment strategies, asset classes (equities, bonds, mutual funds, etc.), and financial instruments.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
Familiarity with portfolio management tools and software (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, or similar platforms).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
Certifications: CFA, NISM Series certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements.

Soft Skills:
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
Client-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
