Job Title: VMC Operator
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced VMC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). The VMC operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining VMC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce parts
– Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
– Perform routine maintenance on machines
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines
– Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
– Follow safety protocols and procedures
Requirements and Skills:
– Proven experience as a VMC Operator (3 years minimum)
– Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
– Strong mechanical aptitude
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good problem-solving skills
– Knowledge of machine maintenance and repair
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Technical certification or training in machining or related field a plus
