Job Overview:
The Trainee HR position is an entry-level role within the Human Resources department. The trainee will assist HR professionals with various tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, and other HR functions. This role provides a valuable opportunity to learn about HR practices and procedures while gaining hands-on experience in a professional setting.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with recruitment processes such as posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and conducting candidate screenings.
– Support employee onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions.
– Help maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
– Assist with employee relations tasks, such as responding to inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
– Support training and development initiatives by coordinating training sessions and tracking employee participation.
– Contribute to special HR projects as assigned, providing research and administrative support.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
– Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced HR environment.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
– 0-1 year of relevant work experience in HR or a related field.
– Familiarity with HR practices and procedures is a plus.
– Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous but not required.
