Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with at least 6 years of experience to oversee and manage our technical projects effectively.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery within specified timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities:
– Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
– Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
– Create and maintain project timelines and budgets.
– Coordinate resources, including team members, third-party contractors, and vendors.
– Manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
– Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and team members.
– Conduct regular project meetings and report on progress.
– Ensure projects adhere to established methodologies and best practices.
– Evaluate and improve overall project management processes.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
– Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in the IT industry.
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
– Knowledge of software development lifecycle and technical concepts.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to build and lead project teams effectively.
– Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
