Job Overview:
SpryBit is looking for an experienced Team Lead – Shopify to lead eCommerce development projects and manage a team of developers. The role involves building scalable Shopify solutions, customizing themes, and ensuring high performance of online stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Shopify development projects and manage team members
Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid
Build and integrate Shopify apps and third-party tools
Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness
Collaborate with designers, clients, and stakeholders
Ensure code quality and follow best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Manage project timelines and deliverables
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Shopify platform and ecosystem
Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Experience with Shopify theme development and customization
Knowledge of Shopify APIs and integrations
Familiarity with eCommerce workflows and payment gateways
Experience with performance optimization and SEO basics
Knowledge of Git and version control systems
Leadership and team management skills
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Understanding of UX/UI best practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
7 to 9 years of experience in Shopify development
Proven experience in leading development teams
