Job Overview
BISUN ELECTRIC PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Design Engineer to handle solar PV system design, technical planning, and documentation for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. The role requires hands-on design knowledge and coordination with execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Designing solar PV systems (On-grid, Off-grid, Hybrid)
Site analysis, load calculation, and system sizing
Preparing layout drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams
Inverter, panel, and BOS component selection
Energy generation estimation and technical calculations
Preparing BOQ and technical documentation
Ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety norms
Coordination with site engineers and project teams
Providing technical support during installation and commissioning
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of solar PV system design
AutoCAD for layout and electrical drawings
PVsyst / Helioscope (preferred)
Knowledge of MNRE / DISCOM guidelines
Understanding of cable sizing, earthing, and lightning protection
Ability to read technical drawings and datasheets
Good documentation and reporting skills
Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma / BE in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Engineering
Minimum 1 year of relevant solar design experience
Willingness to work in a team and handle multiple projects
