The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Snowflake data warehouses and solutions to support our business intelligence needs. They should have a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, SQL, and other relevant technologies in the Snowflake environment.
Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and deploy Snowflake data warehouses and solutions.
– Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
– Develop ETL pipelines to load data into Snowflake from various sources.
– Optimize query performance and ensure data quality and integrity.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and warehouse functionality.
– Provide support and guidance to other team members on Snowflake best practices.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
– 6-9 years of experience working with Snowflake.
– Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
– Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools.
– Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
– Snowflake certification is a plus.
