Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Site Engineer to manage and oversee construction activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, coordination with contractors and consultants, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per specifications.
Responsibilities:
– Supervise day-to-day site construction activities and ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications.
– Plan, schedule, and monitor project execution to meet timelines.
– Manage RCC, structural, finishing, and civil works efficiently.
– Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
– Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards at the site.
– Check drawings, layouts, and measurements before execution.
– Prepare and verify quantity measurements, BOQs, and billing.
– Monitor material usage, site inventory, and procurement planning.
– Resolve on-site technical issues and provide timely solutions.
– Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for approvals and inspections.
– Maintain daily progress reports, site documentation, and records.
– Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
– 5+ years of experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer.
– Strong knowledge of RCC, structural, and finishing works.
– Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and AutoCAD layouts.
– Experience in quantity surveying, billing, and material management.
– Good knowledge of construction safety standards and quality procedures.
– Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
– Ability to handle multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
– Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Effective communication skills with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Qualifications:
– Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
– Hands-on experience managing residential/commercial/infrastructure projects.
– Experience in client handling and contractor coordination is an advantage.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality construction.
