Title: Senior IT Support Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Support Engineer to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves resolving complex technical issues, maintaining systems and networks, ensuring security compliance, and providing technical leadership to the IT support team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application problems
Manage servers, systems, and network infrastructure
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery processes
Support cloud services and virtualization environments
Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and support logs
Mentor junior IT support staff and provide technical guidance
Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
Education / Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Relevant certifications (MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, CompTIA) preferred
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting
Understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and security protocols
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
