Job Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Sales Officer to promote company products, develop new customers, and strengthen market presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for field sales activities, customer relationship management, and achieving assigned sales targets while supporting overall business growth.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and develop new customers through field visits and market research.
– Promote and sell company products to retailers, distributors, and end customers.
– Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by management.
– Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
– Conduct product presentations and explain features and benefits to customers.
– Collect orders, follow up on dispatch, and ensure timely delivery coordination.
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
– Handle price negotiation within approved limits and close sales deals.
– Coordinate with accounts for payment follow-ups and collections.
– Prepare daily sales reports and update customer data regularly.
– Participate in promotional activities and marketing campaigns.
– Resolve customer complaints and provide after-sales support.
– Ensure proper coverage of assigned sales territory.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
– 0–4 years of experience in sales or field marketing (freshers can apply).
– Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
– Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
– Target-oriented mindset with self-motivation.
– Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
– Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.
– Ability to work independently and under pressure.
– Good market understanding and customer-handling skills.
Qualifications:
– Graduate in any field.
– Experience in B2B / B2C sales, trading, or distribution business is an advantage.
– Hands-on experience in field sales or channel sales is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving ability and result-driven attitude.
