Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Chrompet, Chennai
Industry: Manufacturing / Heavy Fabrication
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3 to 6 years
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹28,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of heavy fabrication and machining products
Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards
Handle precision measuring instruments and testing tools
Implement quality control processes to meet industry standards
Identify defects, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions
Maintain and update quality documentation and reports
Coordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication and machining product inspection
Expertise in GD&T and instrument handling
Experience in quality control and assurance
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and reporting abilities
