Job Title: Quality Analyst (QA)
Job Overview:
A Quality Analyst (QA) is responsible for ensuring that software products and applications meet established quality standards through rigorous testing and analysis. They collaborate with various teams to identify issues, implement improvements, and maintain high-quality software releases.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
– Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure optimal performance.
– Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
– Document and track defects, as well as create detailed reports for stakeholders.
– Participate in quality assurance meetings and provide feedback on product quality.
– Stay current with industry best practices and technologies related to quality assurance.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
– 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
– Proven expertise in manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
– Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
– Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus.
