Job Overview
We are looking for a Python Web Scraping Developer with at least one year of experience in extracting and processing data from websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web scraping techniques and be proficient in Python-based scraping tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web scraping scripts to extract structured and unstructured data.
Utilize Python libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Requests to scrape web pages efficiently.
Handle JavaScript-rendered content using Selenium or Playwright when necessary.
Optimize scraping scripts for speed, reliability, and scalability.
Store extracted data in structured formats such as CSV, JSON, or databases.
Implement proxy management and user-agent rotation to avoid detection and blocking.
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical scraping guidelines.
Debug and troubleshoot issues related to web scraping scripts.
Required Skills & Technologies:
Proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with web scraping libraries: BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Requests, Selenium.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, XPath, and Regular Expressions (RegEx) for parsing web data.
Ability to handle dynamic content loading and JavaScript-rendered pages.
Experience with API integration for data retrieval.
Understanding of data storage formats: CSV, JSON, SQLite, MySQL, MongoDB.
Knowledge of proxy rotation and user-agent spoofing techniques.
Good to Have:
Experience in automating repetitive web tasks using Python.
Familiarity with cloud-based web scraping solutions.
Basic knowledge of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
