Job Overview:
Excellent Webworld is looking for a Python Backend Developer to build scalable and efficient server-side applications. The role involves developing APIs, managing databases, and collaborating with frontend teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python
Build and manage RESTful APIs and web services
Work with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Design and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
Ensure security and data protection standards
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Python programming
Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
Familiarity with databases and ORM tools
Knowledge of Git and version control systems
Basic understanding of Docker and cloud platforms (preferred)
Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Celery, async/await)
Problem-solving and debugging skills
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
2–3 years of experience in Python backend development
Strong technical and communication skills
