Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Department Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to support the purchase department in sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be adept at multitasking, and possess excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:
– Assist with sourcing and procuring materials, products, and services.
– Coordinate the purchasing process from obtaining quotes to issuing purchase orders.
– Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
– Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
– Assist in evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts.

Requirements and Skills:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchase department role.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
– Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
– Certification in purchasing or supply chain management is a plus.
