Job Title: Project Engineer (Ducting/Piping)
Location: Ahmedabad, India
Experience: 5-6 Years
CTC: ₹40K – ₹45K per month

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Project Engineer (Ducting/Piping) to oversee and manage the execution of HVAC ducting and piping projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in project planning, site supervision, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution: Manage HVAC ducting and piping installation projects from start to completion.
Site Supervision: Oversee installation teams, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety guidelines.
Material Management: Coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability of ducting and piping materials.
Technical Coordination: Collaborate with design teams, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve site issues.
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, and NBC).
Work Scheduling: Develop and monitor work schedules to ensure projects are completed on time.
BOQ & Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and monitoring project costs.
Testing & Commissioning: Conduct inspections, air balancing, and performance testing for system efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
Team Management: Supervise and guide site technicians and subcontractors.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-6 years of experience in project execution for HVAC ducting and piping systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct sizing, piping layouts, and material selection.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management tools.
Familiarity with HVAC industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NBC).
Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of cost estimation and BOQ preparation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in HVAC site execution and commissioning.
Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
