Title: PHP Developer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code, integrating databases and APIs, and ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of PHP-based applications.
Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented PHP code
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
Work with databases to design, develop, and optimize queries
Implement application security best practices and data protection
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and tools
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
Stay updated with PHP frameworks, tools, and web development trends
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
PHP or web development certifications are an added advantage
Knowledge / Experience / Skills
Strong proficiency in PHP and server-side scripting
Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony
Good understanding of MVC architecture
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend integration
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of application security and performance optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
