Machine Learning Engineer Internship

Position Overview:
One of our client is seeking a passionate and motivated Machine Learning Intern to join our AI and Data Science team. In this role, you will get hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models while gaining exposure to real-world problems. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in machine learning, AI, and data science.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building and testing machine learning models for various projects.
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to preprocess data, identify patterns, and extract valuable insights.
Implement and fine-tune algorithms for predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and other use cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production environments.
Research the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and help apply them to solve practical business problems.
Help develop internal tools and frameworks to streamline machine learning workflows.
Document and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and fundamental machine learning concepts.
Programming experience in Python (knowledge of R, Java, or C++ is a plus).
Hands-on experience with data processing libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Experience with SQL and working with large datasets is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
Experience with deep learning, reinforcement learning, or NLP is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
