Job Overview:
As an L1 Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users of an organization’s applications. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are eager to kickstart their career in IT support and possess a strong interest in technology and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
– Provide first-level technical support to end-users experiencing difficulties with applications.
– Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues reported by users.
– Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams if necessary.
– Document and track support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
– Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
– Collaborate with development teams to communicate user feedback and suggest enhancements.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Basic understanding of SQL and database management.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices is a plus.
