Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and senior QA team members to identify bugs, execute test cases, and help deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities:
– Execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
– Identify, document, and track software defects.
– Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing.
– Validate UI/UX, functionality, and application workflows.
– Assist in test planning and test documentation.
– Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes.
– Maintain clear and detailed test reports.
– Follow QA processes and best practices.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent knowledge).
– 0–1 years of experience in software testing or QA (freshers can apply).
– Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
– Knowledge of manual testing concepts and techniques.
– Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira or similar).
– Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
– Good communication and documentation abilities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
– Hands-on experience with manual testing (training or internship acceptable).
– Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team.
– Strong problem-solving mindset.
