Job Title: Junior Bookkeeper

Job Overview:
The Junior Bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and performing other general accounting duties. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
– Assist with the preparation of financial statements
– Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software
– Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
– Reconcile bank statements and accounts
– Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
– Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
– Support the senior accounting team with ad-hoc tasks

Requirements and Skills:
– 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent organizational skills
– Good communication and teamwork abilities
– Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred)
– Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper)
