Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
- Build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications to support business functionality.
- Design and implement microservices architecture to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure the codebase is efficient and maintainable.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that best practices are followed in software development.
- Continuously stay updated with new technologies and development trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Java Developer or in a similar backend role.
- Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Java EE.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience with front-end technologies or JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
