Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
  • Build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications to support business functionality.
  • Design and implement microservices architecture to improve system reliability and scalability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure the codebase is efficient and maintainable.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that best practices are followed in software development.
  • Continuously stay updated with new technologies and development trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Java Developer or in a similar backend role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Java EE.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Experience with front-end technologies or JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
