Job Description
Job Title: Estimation & Costing Engineer – HVAC
Location: Ahmedabad (with occasional travel, if required)
Experience: 4–6 Years
Job Summary:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC projects by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and requirements.
Coordinate with stakeholders to capture all cost elements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Project Documents: Review project drawings and specifications.
Quantity Take-offs: Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, insulation, etc.
Bid Preparation: Prepare bid documents and technical proposals.
Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations; negotiate pricing and terms.
Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternatives.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records and generate periodic reports.
Compliance: Ensure all estimates comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in HVAC estimation, costing, or project engineering.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to interpret mechanical/architectural drawings; proficiency in estimation software and advanced MS Excel.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international HVAC standards and building codes.
Compensation:
CTC: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
